The Road to WrestleMania is about to kick off in just 4 days at the Royal Rumble. With the most exciting time of the wrestling year upon us more and more rumors are surfacing regarding the WrestleMania 29 Card.
There are many “Backstage” reports starting to surface on various wrestling news sites about this year’s WrestleMania and it’s looking to be an interesting card thus far. Previous reports have made up this potential line-up:
John Cena vs. The Rock (WWE Championship)
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H
Sheamus vs. Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Championship)
CM Punk vs. The Undertaker
This morning there have been small reports as to the role Ryback will play at this year’s WrestleMania. Some possibilities that have reportedly been discussed include a one-on-one match between Ryback and The Big Show; and the potential for a Money in the Bank Ladder Match with Ryback as a competitor has also been discussed.
So far this potential card doesn’t look to be a very good one. The only match above that looks like it could be an entertaining match would be CM Punk vs. The Undertaker. The Triple H vs. Brock match has a bit of potential, but that’s only if Lesnar goes back to his “WWE” style more than his MMA/Wrestling style. Honestly I would not want to see another Rock vs. Cena match as it completely takes away from last year’s build up to their match, and not to mention last year’s match wasn’t all that great in the first place. As far as Randy Orton possibly being a heel and facing off against Sheamus; I couldn’t really care less as neither superstar have really captured my attention that well over the last year or so.
As always these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as there is still plenty of time between now and WrestleMania. The Road to WrestleMania is about to begin and let’s hope for an exciting next few months!
